Burnt toast story (not true)

               Burnt toast

I rushed in the door when Dad said come make your breakfast so I decided to have toast when I was making the toast I decided to go outside for a while and play on my scooter and dad said I can smell burnt toast Marshall and I went to the toaster and there was burnt toast in there I knew what I done I had forgotten to turn the minutes down to 2 minutes because that's how much mins i like   the   toast on for so I had to make up an excuse to my dad why the toast burnt  and made alarms go off  so i  said  to dad that the toast burnt because  I had to go change into My clothes because I realized that there was no school today because it was Saturday I said I was sorry but he didn't believe me so I got into big big trouble over some toast burning so I had to ring make my toast and this time I stayed inside and nothing wrong happened this time.

Festival of the arts kete

Today we talked as a group about how we are going to plan our film. We talked about what roles each person will have, props and important equipment. Next week we will organised a place where we can film and start doing some filming.

Blog post for Quail island

1. What does the name Otamahua mean? Quail Island  
2. Where did the name Quail Island come from? It comes from when the settlers came there were a bunch of quails on it fleeing from them.
3. How big is the island? Approximately 80 Hectares
4. How was the island created? At first, the island was just a bump in the water and when the sea levels lowered it came out of the water and became an island.
5. What wildlife is present on the island - native/introduced? Karoro, Tarapunga, Korora, Terns, Shags, Oystercatchers, Piwakawaka, Iroriro, Banks Peninsula tree weta have recently been transferred to the island - you may see custom-built weta homes attached to the trunks of manuka trees. On warm summer days you’re likely to spot resident lizards like geckos and skinks.   
   

   The Ōtamahua/Quail Island Ecological Restoration Trust and DOC are working to remove pests, establish native vegetation and eventually re-introduce native wildlife. 
6. Mahinga kai, food gathering was an important activity for maori. what food did they gather from Otamahua? - Māori knew Quail Island as Ōtamahua, the 'place to gather sea-bird eggs'.
7. how have introduced species (animals/birds/insects) damaged the environment?  • Fire is a real danger – do not take matches or cigarette lighters. • Be careful with the bags you take on the island.. Check them for unwanted stowaways like rodents. • Take all your rubbish home. • Take care when walking. Watch out for holes and tree roots and be cautious when walking

I'm learning to be a good manager because I was going to be making slime but know one would buy our slime so we decided play doh so that is what ill do I did that to make popularity not unpopular    I meet my success criteria for the play doh by not mucking about with my friends and doing my work  I was finding things hard at first being leader and having two idiots being silly.but i was a bit stupid myself and silly if i had a chromebook id be sure to get my work done and not having to use iPad witch are harder to use than a chromebook it is fun to be a positive manager because when you are doing the right things your not getting off task like for instance when blogging you might go hey the Pearson next to me  is on a game hey whats the game Ur playing play doh is a good example to use for myself because i like to fidget a lot instead of doing the right thing. playing with ye playdoh is better than playing with ye nuckles and fingers and anything else ya play with.

On my first day at school i was 4 and i went to addington school. it was fun there because there was a big playground
